Theo van Gogh's Murderer: "I'd Do It Again."

Mohammed Bouyeri, the self-confessed murderer of Theo van Gogh, told the court this afternoon, "If I should ever be freed, I would do the same again. Exactly the same."

He then addressed van Gogh's mother, Anneke:

"I don't feel your pain," he said. "I can't. I don't know how it is to lose a child who has been brought into the world with so much pain and so many tears. What I do know is that I acted out of my own convictions, not because I hated him."
